I just got back from an amazing vacation to Hawaii with my family.  Seven days in Oahu does a body (and mind!) good.   We went there to celebrate my good friend Kahana’s wedding, but decided to take a few extra days to soak in the sun as well.  Don’t you just feel better with a little sunshine!?  I know I do.  I’ll get to posting a few pics of the trip when I am able to get them off my camera, but for now….I’ll talk bikinis!  Summer is just around the corner.  Can you believe that?  Wasn’t it just Christmas!? Well the bronzed Hawaiian girls running around the North Shore quickly reminded me that bathing suit season is soon to arrive.

It’s always fun shopping for a new suit….but often challenging.   Over the years, I think I have discovered that I am a bandeau kind of girl.  If this is you too…here are a handful of ADORABLE sets worth drooling over.

Anthropologie is killing it in every category including swimwear.

Tavik swimwear is another line I love.  The faded faux denim fabric used in their Summer 2010 line is genius.

I love the new line from Tori Praver.  The top model and Hawaii native, grew up on the beaches of Maui with a childhood spent wearing a bikini among the beauty and splendor of a tropical island paradise.  When speaking of the line, Tori says, “I know swimwear and what women are looking for in a bikini. My line was designed with the intention of making women feel comfortable and confident while being sexy!”
