This is probably one of my all time fave color combo’s. Mint and Poppy! …and this peach painted brick wall we found pretty much topped off the scheme. I found this vintage bow broach at the Long Beach Antique Flea Market last time I visited with some friends. Have you ever been there? It’s held on the third Sunday of every month and i’d say it’s a pretty close rival to the Rose Bowl Flea Market. Only a little less fashion and more home. I found so much good stuff but walked away with just a pair of vintage levi cutoffs, a woven native american rug I found for Sam’s “man cave” a.k.a the garage….and this little broach which the seller told me was from the 1940’s. It’s been a go to now for several weeks. I love it pinned to my chest on heavy knit sweaters, but lately have been wearing it pinned to my collar. I think I like it even more this way! Well, TGIS. (thank goodness it’s saturday). We’ve got a whole lot of nothing going on today which is a dream. That never happens. I’m blogging while baby is napping and perhaps we will take a walk to the park and get a slurpee from 7-11 on the way home. Oh the things I look forward to! ha.
