A little while back Sam and I got the opportunity to share our story with some of the Free People creative team as part of their “Love Stories” video series.  I had seen a few of the videos before and was (and still am) surprised they asked to feature us…..but Sam and I both were honored they did.  It was so fun to spend the day with them in our home and around our town and share a little bit about our life, our passions and our love for each other and the little girl we are raising together.

There is nothing that is more important to me than the love of family. Today especially, I am acutely aware of how lucky I am. Not only to be a mother, but also to be a wife to a man that is 100% invested in raising children alongside me, hand in hand. We are a team in this. And I can’t imagine doing it without him. Motherhood is a journey. It’s the best job and the hardest job at the same time. But through every hard time, nothing ever trumphs the joy that it brings. Rylee has my whole heart. Every piece of it. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for that girl. And it makes me so excited to think about falling in love all over again with the little boy growing inside of me, just as I did with her. Being a momma is such a gift.  Happy mothers day momma’s.
